An Overview

Psychometric Testing
A psychometric test is a way of assessing a person’s ability or personality in a measured and structured way. There are 3 main types of tests: ability, personality and interest. Most tests are used by employers to help them in their recruitment process and it is common for graduate employers to use psychometric tests as part of their selection process. We believe tests help organisations recruit the right people with the right mix of abilities and personal qualities.

So whether you are recruiting new members of staff or assessing performance in line with appraisals Psychometric testing will enable you to assess your employee’s abilities in a number of areas.

If you are looking at Psychometric testing as part of your IT recruitment selection process we are able to offer you advice and guidance on the best way forward and will administer the tests on or off site for you depending upon your requirements; we will provide a full candidate evaluation and report so that you are able to make informed decisions during the selection process.

If you are planning on taking on a number of Graduate’s then we suggest running an assessment day where we will carry out psychometric testing and group exercises. We provide clear performance evaluations and test results to the hirer and candidate allowing for informed selection and performance evaluation. These tests are also useful for "sifting out" large number of applicants at an early stage and will save you both time and money.

HR Consultancy
If you are looking for general advice on new employment legislation, best practice or you wish to review your internal HR processes then we are able to offer you up to date and specific advice for your industry sector. For example you may require a HR file audit to make sure you are compliant with new Data Protection laws or you may need to have your training and development needs of your employees assessed. We are able to offer a confidential and comprehensive solution allowing you to focus on your every day business safe in the knowledge that your human resource issues are safely under control.

Payrolling
We are in a position to payroll new starters that you are unable to, perhaps due to headcount reasons. We currently provide payroll services for two of our biggest clients and have done so successfully for the past two years and continue to do so. We will take over all pay related issues for you, acting as employer, including; allocation of NI number if required, issuing P45 and P60’s, make payment (weekly or monthly) and issue payslips. If your new starter is a Temporary Worker or Contractor we will also issue them with a timesheet and follow them up at month end for any late submissions. And because we act as their employer we will also provide contracts of employment so you won’t have to get involved with any paperwork.

Recruitment Management
If you are looking to outsource your recruitment function we can provide you with a solution that will give you one point of contact and access to a number of specialist agencies. Ensuring adherence to current legislation we will ensure the recruitment process is defined and agreed.

We work with HR and the Business to ensure agency/suppliers provide candidates eligible to work in the UK and who are fully referenced. We will:

  • Write full job descriptions
  • Select suppliers
  • Agree terms
  • Issue contracts
  • Review and pre-select candidate CVs
  • Confirm interviews
  • Conduct competency based interviews
  • Confirm job offers (including issue correct offer documentation)
  • Conduct compliance checks
  • Carry out site specific induction

Reference Checking
Ensuring adherence to current legislation we will reference check all new starters for you, including confirming eligibility to work in the UK and will provide a detailed report on our findings. We will go back as far as you request but as standard we will reference check all employee’s for the previous 5 years. If you require a more detailed referencing service, for example a Credit Check (for CCJ’s, bankruptcy) or a full pre- employment screening questionnaire (from school certificates to old addresses) then we are able to provide this service also.
